The $250/hour
Attorney Letter

Just the beginning

Regarding the proposal for a Harbour Square Computer Users Group,
a simple "thanks but no thanks" email or sticky note from the Management Office
would have been sufficient.  But they had to hire an attorney for at least $250 to say it.
The attorneys stand to make thousands of Owner funds from this non-issue

The parking issue was resolved months ago, and the Management Office reports
there have been no problems or conflicts with the proposed "9:00-5:00" arrangement

Here he is referring to the use of the "HSBoard" email shortcut, which sends an email to the members through one name,
instead of listing their email addresses one by one.
This is a feature of most email programs, and does not require the permission of anyone in the recipient list.
At $250 per page, this may well have made the total bill to Harbour Square Owners $500.

Was this really worth $1 per Harbour Square Owner?  (about 250 owners)

Does it express the views of the majority of the Owners?

How many more like this have been sent to Owners?  At what cost?

How about spending the money to paint this 2 year old problem hall and carpet?
